Testimonial : Having been introduced to gardening from a young age by my father it's something which has always come very naturally to me. Whether it was cutting grass in the garden or assissting on a tree felling job, at a young age I learnt a good work ethos which sticks with me to this day. Before I was even a teenager I had already started to earn a wage at the weekends gardening with my father. I did my first full day age 12 maintaining the grounds of a country hotel with dad. Pretty soon we were keeping the grounds of the hotel, the owners house, his neighbours and a factory.
At 15 I worked during a summer for a landscaping company and helped in the construction of a silver medal winning garden at the Royal Horticultural Society flower show. At 17 I worked on a golf course, where I stayed for 3 seasons where I soon took on a supervisory position. By 20 I was put in charge of the gardens at Glasgow Golf Club, while gaining the first of my qualifications in my own time and also welcoming my son into the world. 2 more golf courses and a promotion to deputy head greenkeeper pretty much brings me up to the spring of 2012 when I decided to go into business for myself.
High quality work with high quality finishes. Results that stand up to the test of time.
